The first workshop was on Smart Farming and the excited SMK Dengkil students had the opportunity to learn more on urban farming, hydrophonics and smart farming and also a chance to visit and experience harvesting some of the fresh vegetables hosted by Urban Farm Tech
Our second workshop was on experiential learning by Chumbaka on Robotics & Smart Electronics, where the students from SMK Khai Mun and SMK Sulaiman did hands on activities on key chain souldering, MBOT and 3D designing.
These programme are designed to promote and increase interest in STEM subjects and nurturing youths from an early age for a future driven by digital technologies and innovations.
Concurrently, our Head of Technology Hub Development Division, Pn Shafinaz Salim also spoke in a panel session during the launch of KLESF @Cyberjaya 2022 at MIGHT on the importance of STEM towards innovation, with another panellist Mr. Tan Tze Meng, Head of Technology Verticals Business Unit, MDEC. The session was moderated by Rushdi Abdul Rahim, Senior Vice President at MIGHT.
