Webinar Series: Road to Recovery [Episode 08]: Business Value and Opportunities for IoT Infrastructure Development

In the past 6 months, MIGHT had conducted 8 episodes of webinar on Road to Recovery themes. The latest webinar series: Road to Recovery (Episode 8): Business Value and Opportunities for IoT Infrastructure Development was successfully held on 10 September 2020 via Cisco Webex platform. The goal of the 8^th episode of webinar series is focused on accelerating the business value and opportunities for IoT infrastructure development by the smart cities’ authorities and industry players. The highlighted lessons from the panelist’s knowledge sharing are:

1. Mazlan Abbas – Appoint a Chief Smart City Officer to manage the project.
2. Datuk Mohd Rauf Nasir – Implement the blueprint and framework that has been established.
3. Norm Gilsdorf – Form an organization called Dynamic Smart City Organization, which is a mixed of the government sector and public-private sector stakeholders.
4. Dr Mohammad Fahmi Ngah – Assist by providing financial, policy or investment support.

The webinar also gave participants the access to connect with experts to discuss on business values and opportunities on IoT infrastructure for smart cities development and technologies adoption for businesses values into their unique circumstances. The 8th Webinar series was joined by 18 participants virtually and received around 53 views in YouTube platform.
