SMART CITY AUTHORITY ROUNDTABLE ON MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE CITIES (MyICSC)

MyICSC is initiated to encourage smart cities’ stakeholders to build Sustainable Cities and Communities as per National Agenda to be in-line with UNDP SDGs number 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities. MyICSC is designed to provide opportunities, in leveraging the knowledge, and creates the environment to encourage and facilitate active sharing of expertise for delivering new insights across the community of interest.
As being the entity that is responsible to lead and develop the sustainable & smart city initiatives in your state, MIGHT believe that each authority plays an important role in delivering their vision, mission and objective as well as supporting the smart city National strategic framework blueprint. Therefore, MIGHT would like to engage the Smart City authorities in Malaysia through this Roundtable Session to gain understanding and insights. This also would enable MyICSC to provide value and relevancy to the main stakeholders in the Smart and Sustainable City ecosystem.
Smart City Authority Roundtable on Malaysia International Centre for Sustainable Cities (MyICSC) was successfully held on 2 June 2020. The furitfull session was moderated by Mr. Hazmi Yusof, Managing Diredctor of Frost & Sullivan and attended by selected organisation. The topics of the discussion as per below:
a) What are the goals and aspiration of the Smart City Authorities and how can MyICSC play a role in supporting the Authority?
b) What are the top 3 trends impacting smart city vision and aspiration of the smart cities in the Covid-19 era?
c) Top 3 activities MyICSC can initiate in the next 6 months.
