Knowledge and Sharing Session: How to Accelerate the Implementation of Smart Cities in Malaysia

Institute of Housing and Local Government (I-KPKT) in collaboration with Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) , URBANICE MALAYSIA and PLANMalaysia are organising a virtual Forum & training  – “Knowledge and Sharing Session: How to Accelerate the Implementation of Smart Cities in Malaysia” as a part of capacity building for GEF6 Sustainable Cities Development in Malaysia.

The objectives of this training are:

1. To enhance local authorities’ understanding of Malaysia’s national aspiration toward smart cities implementation.

2. To provide the local authorities with further understanding of the various scenarios of business opportunities, funding models and guidelines for smart city development.

3. To provide guidance and know-how for local authorities to implement smart city projects.
